Ok, I'm planning on making a duct tape tux and I want to get some input before I start. I already know I want it to be black with a white frilly shirt.  I was wondering some thing about it.
1. Can you move your arms and legs in duct tape long sleeves?
2. How can i make it not overheat?
3. How do you get a duct tape shirt on? I've only used a vest.

Might I suggest that you actually wear a normal shirt underneath it, but compliment it with (essentially) at duct tape dickie? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dickie).

This would be immensely more comfortable, and cooler because you'll have only the coat as far as duct tape goes, rather than the shirt as well.

Probably going to need some type of stockings as well if you're going to manage to be even remotely comfortable for the evening.

You will be able to bend your arms, though you've probably got a limited amount of wear before the tux wears out on you.

Love to see pics when it's done tho!

The only problem is I wanted it to be all duct tape so I can take off the jacket if I want to. I intend to make it on Christmas break so I have plenty of time t make it good quality.

1. If you want to see how flexible the sleeves and legs would be, just make a tube of duct tape big enough to fit your arm or leg into and then bend you arm or leg.
2. My shirt doesn't overheat while I wear it, but I think that is because the bottom of it is rather big and air can go through.
3. When I put my duct tape shirt on I put my hands in the sleeves and then put my arms through the sleeves as I pull the whole shirt down.

Oh. I thought you had to have buttons in the back. I didn't realize it would work so easily.

Yeah, its hard at first but it gets easier after you do it a couple of times.
But mine is a t-shirt and I'm guessing yours is going to be long sleeved, which may make it harder.
